Microsoft Music surprises Windows 8

At CES 2012, Microsoft highlighted Windows 8 in its own booth. On the Windows 8 tablet, a careful person discovered a new application "Microsoft Music", which was deeply integrated into the system, possibly derived from the Microsoft music service Zune, and is expected to replace Windows Media Player in the future.

It’s not clear what Microsoft’s plans are, but in the existing Windows 8, this new application, Microsoft Music, has taken shape, in the form of a Live Title activity patch on the Start Screen. Take a seat, as you can see from the live demo, Microsoft Music is playing music. Microsoft Music appears in every corner of Windows 8, such as search boxes, sharing menus.

There are several speculations about the identity of Microsoft Music: Maybe it's just a Metro style music player developed by Microsoft for Windows 8, maybe it will replace Windows Media Player (in Microsoft's demo, Windows 8 There is also a separate "video" application, which means that music playback and video playback in Windows 8 have been separated), or perhaps, it is Zune's nirvana rebirth.
