ITG hopes to introduce the Windows PC experience in smartphones, which the company calls "smart phones". The company began experimenting with the introduction of Windows XP in mobile phones a few years ago. Earlier this year, the company launched XPPhone, a mobile phone with Windows 7.

The company recently announced that it is developing XPPhone 2, which is thinner and lighter and consumes less energy. This phone will support both Windows 7 and PC version of Windows 8.

The industry believes that users may not need to install the Windows system in their pockets, and running Windows 8 on their phones requires strong hardware support. The phone will use a 1.6GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. ITG even said that it might use a 2GHz processor. In addition, storing Windows 8 systems requires a lot of hard disk space. Therefore, the internal storage capacity of XPPhone 2 reaches 112GB.

ITG said that XPPhone 2 is not only a mobile phone, but also "the world's smallest laptop". The phone measures 140x73x17.5mm and can be used in addition to laptops, desktops and in-car navigation systems.
