Microsoft will release Windows 8 CTP version next week

On July 11, next Monday, Microsoft will host the Global Partner Conference (WPC 2011). It is reported that Microsoft will release the Community Preview (CTP) of Windows 8 at that time.

At the WPC 2011 conference, Microsoft CEO Steve · Ballmer will explain Microsoft's development strategy for the next fiscal year and the product launch route for 2012. MSFTtm, which has shared Windows 8 leaked versions several times before, revealed on Weibo: “On WPC11, Microsoft will release Windows 8 Community Preview (CTP). According to industry speculation, Microsoft will release the Windows 8 Beta public beta at the BUILD Developer Conference in September this year, and the RC candidate is expected to be released at CES 2012 in January 2012. If there is a pre-test version of Windows 8 before Beta, then WPC 2011 is indeed a suitable release time.

According to two Microsoft insiders, Microsoft will announce some substantive content about Windows 8 on WPC, and will share the second Windows 8 video.

Microsoft introduced Windows 8 for the first time at the D9 conference in early June and announced a Windows 8 video.
