Two ways to use Outlook Active View under Win8

Under Win8 system, if we don't use third-party mailbox, most people will choose to use Microsoft Outlook. Outlook has a very good function, it allows us to directly receive Preview or interact with content in a box without going to another website. When we receive an email with a link to a photo or video, we can also preview the content using the activity view, see the thumbnail of the photo or video directly in the email, or even play the video directly in the inbox. It brings a lot of convenience to the user's use. Win8 uses Outlook Active View in two ways:

Preview: When you receive an email with a link (such as a friend's photo or video link), you can use the active view to preview the content. For example, when someone sends you a photo site link, you'll see a thumbnail of the photo in the message. This way, you can view photos or watch videos without going to another website.

Interactive Email: When you receive an email with a website update, you can interact with the content directly in the email without having to go to the website. For example, if a social networking site sends you a status update, you can post a comment or accept a friend request from the email.

Turn Active View on or off:

1. Log in to your Outlook account.

2. At the top right of the Outlook window, click the “options" icon and click “More Email Settings”.

3. Under "Read Email", click “Activity View Settings”.

4. Under “Do you want to see the preview?”, choose whether to show or hide the preview.

5. Under "Do you want to enable interactive mail?", choose whether to receive interactive mail.

6. Click “Save”.

If you are also using Outlook and also have a Google Mail account, then after reading the above tutorial, you can quickly browse the mail directly through Outlook. The latest version of Outlook4Gmail has many convenient functions. Will help you.
