What should I do if the Windows 8 system C disk space is smaller?

A lot of netizens who installed Windows 8 or 8.1 system said that the system installed in the partition did not pay attention to the capacity of each disk, resulting in the C disk capacity is too small, so the C disk space is used smaller. Before the system home has shared the corresponding tutorial to solve this problem (see "Small dishes! Win8.1 to give more space to the C drive"), here to add some small series.

Method

Windows Update Automatic Update: Delete the automatic update patch downloaded under C:\\WINDOWS\\SoftwareDistribution\\Download.

Hibernation File: Use the shortcut key Win+X-Command Prompt (Administrator) to enter: powercfg -h off, press Enter to close and delete the hibernation file.

Expanding partitions: The most fundamental solution is to expand the capacity of the C drive partition. At present, most mechanical hard disks operate in such a way that the outer ring rotates faster than the inner ring, and the system partition is the C disk in the outermost circle, so the software is installed to the C drive to start and read the fastest. Xiaobian suggested using a partitioning assistant and other partitioning software to adjust the capacity of the C drive to a capacity between 70-150G.

After reading so much, I believe that you already know how to do the Windows 8 system C drive "to lose weight". However, Xiao Bian does not recommend to improve the C drive space by closing some system services, and expanding the C drive is the king.
