You can customize the taskbar (including how the taskbar buttons are displayed and how these buttons are grouped together when opening multiple windows), and change the position of the taskbar on the desktop. Rearranging taskbar buttons

To rearrange the order in which buttons are applied on the taskbar, drag the button from the current position to a different location on the taskbar. You can rearrange the app at any time.

All open files in the same application are always grouped together, even if you don't open them one by one. This way you can see all the previews of the app at the same time.

Moving the taskbar

The taskbar is usually at the bottom of the desktop, but you can move it to the sides or top of the desktop. Before moving the taskbar, you need to unlock the taskbar.

Steps to Unlock the Taskbar

Long press or right-click on an empty space on the taskbar. If there is a check mark next to the “lock taskbar”, the taskbar is locked. You can unlock the taskbar by clicking or clicking “lock the taskbar> (this will remove the check mark).

Steps to move the taskbar

Do one of the following:

Click on the empty space on the taskbar and drag it to one of the four edges of the desktop . Release the taskbar when the taskbar appears in the desired location. (If you use a mouse, click on the empty space on the taskbar, then hold down the mouse button and drag the taskbar to one of the four edges of the desktop. To lock the taskbar, long press or right-click on the empty space on the taskbar, and then tap or click “Lock taskbar” to display a check mark. This helps ensure that the taskbar does not accidentally move or resize.

Changing how the taskbar buttons are displayed

You can choose how the buttons are grouped when you open multiple windows and change the size of the taskbar button icons.

Open “Taskbar Properties by: swipe from the right edge of the screen to the middle, click "Search” (If you use the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then point the pointer Move down, click “search”), type “task bar” in the search box, and then click or click “Set> and “Taskbar”.

On the “Taskbar” tab, select an option from the “Taskbar button":

Always merge and hide labels (this is the default setting. Each Apps are displayed as an unlabeled button, even when multiple windows of the app are open.)

Merge when the taskbar is full (this setting displays each window as a tagged Buttons. When the taskbar becomes very crowded, applications with multiple open windows are merged into one app button. Clicking or clicking this button will display a list of open windows.)

Never Merge (This setting displays each window as a tabbed button and never merges them, no matter how many windows are opened. The more open applications and windows, the smaller the buttons become, and the final buttons are scrolled.)

To use the small taskbar button icon, select the “Use small taskbar icon” checkbox. To use a large icon, clear the check box.

Click or click “OK”.
