How do I check if my computer has a touch screen?

Try clicking on the tile on “Start” with your finger. If it is a touch screen, the app will open. You can also check the current system settings with your mouse:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, click “Set”, then click “Change PC Settings”.

(If you are using a mouse, point to the lower right corner of the screen, then move the mouse pointer up, click “Set”, then click “Change PC Settings 

Click or click "Computers & Devices", and then tap or click "Computer Information".

Under "Computers", look at the "Pen and Touch" settings, which indicate which type of input your screen supports.

If you have a touch screen, the touch input is turned on by default and you cannot turn it off. If you want your laptop or monitor to respond to touch operations, but the results are not responsive, visit the manufacturer's website to make sure the laptop or monitor supports touch operations and the correct drivers are installed.

How do I calibrate my pen and touch settings?

To adjust the sensitivity of the screen when using a pen or finger:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen. Then click "Search”.

(If using the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then move the mouse pointer down, then click “search”.)

Enter “calibration" in the search box ;, then click or click “ calibrate pen and touch input screen & rdquo; to open “ tablet settings & rdquo;.

Check that the display shown in the “Display” field matches the screen you want to calibrate.

Click or click “Calibration" and follow the instructions on the screen.

What if I calibrate the pen and touch settings but can't open the charms now?

If you have calibrated the touch and pen settings, but from the right side of the screen to the middle The charms were not displayed when swiping, probably because the screen boundaries were reset during the calibration process and Windows did not accurately detect the edges of the screen. Try the following steps to calibrate your pen and touch settings again.

Using keyboard shortcuts Windows logo key +C Open the charms and tap or click "Search”.

Enter “Calibration" in the search box, then click or click “calibrate pen and touch input screen" to open “ tablet settings”.

Check that the display shown in the “Display” field matches the screen you want to calibrate.

Click or click “Reset" The system may ask you for an administrator password or confirm your choice.

If resetting the pen and touch settings does not work, then try the calibration again by clicking or clicking "Calibration", then follow the instructions on the screen. To ensure that Windows can accurately detect the edges of the screen, move slightly closer to the center of the screen as you touch the calibration point.

How do I turn my touch input to the correct screen?

If you have two monitors and one of them is a touch screen, the touch input signal may be confused. For example, touching one display will move the cursor over the other display. To fix the problem:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen and click "Search”.

(If using the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then move the mouse pointer down, then click “search”.)

Enter “calibration" in the search box ;, then click or click “ calibrate pen and touch input screen & rdquo; to open “ tablet settings & rdquo;.

Click or click “Set” and follow the instructions on the screen.

How do I change my pen and touch operation?

To change the speed, range, or duration of an operation:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen. Then click "Search”.

(If using the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then move the mouse pointer down, then click “search”.)

Enter “pen and in the search box Touch ”, then tap or click “pen and touch”.

Click or click the action you want to configure, then click “Settings”.

Follow the instructions on the screen.
