How to get a standalone installation image for Windows 8.1

1. First, download two installation wizards from Microsoft's official website, which are Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.

2. Run the Windows 8 installation wizard;

3. Follow the wizard step by step and enter your Windows 8 when you enter the serial number. Serial number, then start downloading the file;

4. When the download progress shows 1%, pause the download;

5, close the Windows 8 installer and then start the Windows 8.1 installer, this will display the prompts that the download is not completely successful on the Windows 8.1 installation wizard;

6. Close and restart the Windows 8.1 installation wizard, and the download will start again. Wait patiently for the download to complete;

7. After the download is complete, the installation wizard will ask for the next action, install it immediately, install it by creating media media, or install it from the desktop later. Select “ Install by creating media media>;

Note: Depending on the environment, after downloading files on some PCs, verification and preparation may be performed before the installation options appear.

8. Next, you can choose to create USB or ISO files. We need ISO files, naturally choose ISO files; then select the location where ISO files are saved. At this point, the ISO file we need is here.

9. Finally, the installation wizard will prompt you to burn the ISO file to the DVD. If you don't have a DVD burning device or you don't need to burn it to a DVD, you can skip this last. step.
