Some Win8.1 users have reported that Wi-Fi connections are accidentally unavailable or frequently dropped, which makes many users who use wireless networks in Win8.1 systems very entangled.

Although Microsoft officials currently do not provide a substantial solution, but the enthusiastic network in the Microsoft community has shared some effective solutions. Ways, if you are using Win8.1 system also Wi-Fi connection is not on or old dropped, you can refer to the solution given by the user to try.

The solution provided by Microsoft community users is as follows:

1. In the wireless network connection settings window, find the currently connected wireless network & ldquo; WLAN status & quoquo; right click to view & ldquo; status & rdquo;;

2. In the "WLAN status" window found "wireless properties" ;

3. Go to the "Wireless Network Properties" window, switch to the "Security" page, click “Advanced Settings>;

4. Check the option to enable Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) compatibility for this network.

Manually enable “Functional Federal Processing Standards (FIPS) compliant for this network, which enhances the compatibility of wireless network connections and prevents the network from being used. There is a drop in the middle.
