Solution

1. Quit all Windows-based programs.

2. Click Start or use the win+R key combination. In the Start Search box, type regedit and press ENTER or OK. (If you receive the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.)

3. Locate and then click one of the following registry subkeys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services /Msahci

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/IastorV

4. In the right pane, in the Name column, right-click start, and then click Modify.

5. In the Value data box, type 0 and then click OK.

6. Finally, quit the registry editor.
