Windows 8 partition size security fast adjustment

The Microsoft operating system Windows 8 has many advanced features, such as touch-based interface Metro style, Windows Store, and more. However, compared to Windows 7, it does not have much breakthrough in disk management. The disk manager embedded in Windows 8 only has the following features.
Basic Features:
Create Partition, Delete, Format Hard Disk
Delete Drive Letter, Assign Drive Letter to Partition
Convert FAT32 to NTFS, etc.
Advanced Features:
Expand partitions and shrink partitions.
Conversion between basic and dynamic disks.
Convert an empty MBR to a GPT disk and vice versa.
Convert an empty dynamic disk to a basic disk.
How to open Windows 8 Disk Manager?
It has a variety of ways to access Windows 8 Disk Management. By pressing WIN + [R] to open the "Run" box, type "ldmg;diskmgmt.msc" in the text box and click "OK" to quickly open the Windows 8 Disk Manager.
Using Windows 8 Disk Management to Extend Partitions and Reduce Partitions
Windows 8 Disk Management has the ability to compress partitions and expand partitions. You can narrow or extend the partition, right click on a partition, select “compress volume" or expand volume", and enter how much space you want to shrink or expand.
Note: You can extend the partition only when there is unallocated space after the partition, otherwise you cannot expand the partition. One of its limitations, this time you need to use free third-party software, partition assistant to help you more flexible to solve the problem of resizing the partition. The picture below is a screenshot of the partition assistant.
Partition Assistant has many excellent disk partition management functions, such as extended partition wizard, partition lossless data resizing, also supports MBR and GPT disk conversion, merge partitions, split partitions, migrate operating systems, and so on.
