Windows 8.1 Update cannot be updated

  
        

The Windows 8.1 Update released on April 8 was not properly installed by some customer feedback, resulting in a 0x80073712 error. After research and testing, Microsoft has released a solution to allow users who have not updated to update Windows 8.1 Update with confidence.

More Microsoft's instructions, users who have updated do not need to reinstall Windows 8.1 Update, users who have not updated to Windows 8.1 Update can go through “Windows Update "Windows & Updates Windows Server Update Service&rdquo Get updates that no longer cause problems, or you can manually download 32-bit and 64-bit update packages via the following link:

KB2919442 is a prerequisite for the Windows 8.1 update when you try to install Clearcompressionflag.exe should be run before KB2919355.

Manually downloaded update packages must be installed in the following order: clearcompressionflag.exe, KB2919355, KB2932046, KB2959977, KB2937592, KB2938439, KB2934018.

Additionally, the issue from Windows Server Update Services 3.0 Service Pack 2 can no longer be scanned after updating to 8.1 Update (the server is configured to use HTTPS, but TLS 1.2 is not enabled). In the latest version released on April 15th, it has been resolved, and business users no longer have to worry about this issue.
