SteamOS hardware requirements:

1. Set the traditional BIOS boot mode: DVD boot or U disk boot.

2, SteamOS installation initial interface, select “Expert install” (Advanced installation mode)

3, select the current system language, region, keyboard, it is recommended to select all English, American keyboard

4, start reading SteamOS image file

5, disk partition: mirror first read this disk often error, generally select "Go Back", select "ldquo; disk partition", Local disk can be recognized normally

6. After selecting “Partition Disks”, continue to the next step

7. At this time, the SteamOS image reads the local disk partition normally.

8, select the previously divided blank partition (Free Space), create a new partition

9, set the partition size and primary partition (Primary)

10, SteamOS will automatically divide Ext4 for the new partition Diary system, the next step

11, back to the disk partition interface, select “Finish partitioning and write change to disk& Rdquo;, write the new partition to the system

12, the prompt data will be destroyed, whether to return. Select, No, go to the next step

13, start writing, will prompt to install other desktop components in the middle, all check, continue to install
