How to create a shutdown tile on Windows 8 for fast shutdown

Compared with the previous tomato garden system, Windows 8 has undergone great changes and breakthroughs in design. While we enjoy the fashion and rich new visual experience, many users feel that they are not suitable for the new shutdown position. Here, we will introduce you to an easy way: by adding a shutdown tile on the desktop to achieve a quick shutdown! 1. First, let's open the desktop in Windows 8. 2. Right-click on the blank space on the desktop, click New, and select Shortcut. 3. In the new window, type “%systemroot%/System32/shutdown.exe -s -hybrid -t 00 “ (without the double quotation marks), and then click Next. 4. Name the newly created shortcut: Enter Shutdown in the space and click Finish. 5. Place your mouse over the shortcut you just created, right-click and select Properties.
