Solve the problem that Flash content cannot be opened in IE10 under Win8.

It is well known that Windows 8 provides two modes of IE10 browser, Modern mode and desktop mode. The Modern version has a new look and is more suitable for touch browsing. The desktop version is more similar to the earlier version of IE browser, and the operating experience is similar to IE9.
If you are having trouble opening Flash content when using the IE10 browser built into Windows 8 system, you can refer to the solution below.
1. Check if the content can be played in desktop mode
2. If the content cannot be played in desktop mode
a. Disable ActiveX filtering
b. Enable Flash Player
c. Install Flash Player Latest version
3.If content can be played in desktop mode
a.Enable compatibility view (CV) list update
Check if content can be played in desktop mode
If content is not played in Modern mode , follow the steps described below to check if it plays in desktop mode:
Note: Flash Player is embedded in both versions. The Compatibility View (CV) list enables compatible rich media content in Modern Mode Internet Explorer. If something cannot be played in Modern mode, they may not be listed in the CV list. In this case, you can view these in desktop mode Internet Explorer.
• Swipe from the bottom or top edge to display the app bar.
• Open the “Tools> menu and select View on Desktop. Check if you can view the content.

disable ActiveX Filtering
& bull; open a page containing Flash content in Internet Explorer in the desktop mode. (See the previous section to learn how to open content in desktop mode.)
• Select “Tools”>“Security”. If ActiveX filtering is selected (there is a check to indicate that ActiveX filtering is selected), click this option again to cancel.

& bull; close your browser and open it, and then try to view the content.
Enable Flash Player
Make sure Flash Player is enabled.
• Open a page with rich media content in desktop mode Internet Explorer. For example, find the Flash Player. (See the previous section to learn how to open content in desktop mode.)
• Select “Manage Add-ons from the “Settings“ menu.

& bull; select Flash Player add-ins: Shockwave Flash Object. Note: Make sure the site contains rich media content to see Flash Player in the list of add-ons.
