Microsoft is currently working closely with Adobe. Adobe has provided open source code to access Flash and allows code to be used in IE10; therefore, Microsoft does not need a policy that does not support plugins for the Metro version of IE. To make an exception, Flash will be part of IE.

Restricted Flash content support ensures the core core experience of Win8 users, but it does not support all Flash content. This is the joint effort of Microsoft and Adobe for the user experience. The most important thing now is to wait for the release of Win8 RP on June 1.
