Use Group Policy to easily turn off Win2003 thumbnail function

  

The Win2003 system has a thumbnail view function. In order to speed up the thumbnail display speed of those cumbersome browsing, the system will cache these images so that the information in the cache can be directly read when the next time is opened, thereby achieving the purpose of quick display. If we don't want the system to cache, we need to turn off the function of this thumbnail.

Close thumbnail function method:

1. Start - enter gpedit.msc in the run; open “ group policy - local computer policy - user configuration - management template - windows component - Windows Explorer has a cache of closed thumbnails on the right side. (If your system is streamlined, you may not have this).

2. Open “My Computer”-“Tools”-“Folder Options>, switch to “View“ in the “Folder Options” Label, in the “Do not cache thumbnails” checkbox before “√”, then click the “OK” button to exit.
