Mac installation Win10 multi-partition tutorial graphic tutorial

After the official release of Win10, many Apple users began to install on Mac devices, but some DIY enthusiasts said that from 2015, their Mac seems to be unable to install more Windows Partitioning, which gives them the urge to throw away Mac devices.

I got a good response. The 2015 Mac didn't support the MBR+GPT hybrid startup like the previous Mac. It only supports GPT startup, which is a bit of a headache.
According to the description of the front friend, the partition format of this tutorial is:
- C drive and D drive are NTFS format
- Mac OS X partition for OS X extended log type
-disk partition The table is in GUID format (update system and quick start accessibility)

Next, let's talk about the explanation of Boot Cmap and the principle of Apple EFI partition. Literally, Boot Cmap is Boot and Camp, the meaning of the startup center, it must be somewhere in the hard disk of our computer
.

As for the EFI partition, the internal consists of two subfolders, APPLE and Microsoft. The former is used for Apple Mac OS X and recovery HD, while the latter belongs to Microsoft Windows. Unexpectedly, this partitioning is also the reason why Mac devices in 2015 can't do Windows multi-partitioning.
Because in 2015, the Mac device no longer supports the MBR boot relationship. When the Windows 10 is installed in the traditional MBR mode, the Microsft directory cannot be written in the EFI folder, resulting in no boot items in the EFI, and thus the Windows 10 system cannot be started. Even if the Mac device before 2015 is not written to the Micosoft directory in the EFI partition, it can still be started with the MBR boot file of the local disk, as shown below:

The front friend said that it is Apple's consistent philosophy to abandon the old things. From the original iMac comes with a DVD drive, you can see how bold Apple is. Since the GPT disk partition table is higher in performance and data reliability than the MBR disk partition table, there is no reason for Apple not to abandon the latter.
In a sense, MBR+GPT hybrid startup is Windows XP, because it only supports MBR boot, Windows 7/8 also supports MBR boot, so we can install multiple partitions on devices before 2015. operating system.

However, since 2015, Mac no longer supports single MBR mode booting system (Windows XP), so the MBR boot mode is abandoned, and the pure GPT disk boot is used instead, that is, 2015 The Mac device has one less command to search for a full BCD file and only reads the boot BCD file of the EFI disk.

In this case, we can manually write the BCD file to the EFI partition when installing the Windows system, or use the tool to write the BCD to the EFI partition. Therefore, we need to prepare a USB flash drive with the following functions:

-With OS X reload recovery.
- Need to use the DG partition tool to manually import EFI partition files
- Windows 10 installation files
- Boot Camp driver
- Windows 10 activation patch.
Finally, you attach a small series to install video
