Linux installation:

1, enter ROUX as ROOT, change the virtual machine drive to use iso image, the path is X :\\ProgramFiles\\VMware\\VMwareWorkstation\\Programs\\linux.iso3, go to linux and run mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom t to load the CDROM device. If you enter the t directory, you will find one more file: vmware-linux -tools.tar.gz. This is the LINUX package of WMWARE TOOLS, which is what we just saw using WINISO to open the LINUX.ISO file.

cp t vmware-linux-tools.tar.gz /tmp Copy the package to the Linux TMP directory umount /dev/cdrom Uninstall CDROMcd /tmp Enter the TMP directory tar zxf vmware-linux-tools. Tar.gz Unzip the package, unzip it to the vmware-linux-tools directory (same name as the file name) cd vmware-linux-tools to the decompressed directory. /install.pl Run the installation command

At this time install prompts you if you need to back up the previous configuration file, it is recommended to select “y”. Then all the way back.

Windows
Installation:

1, first change the virtual machine drive to use iso image, the path is X:\\ProgramFiles\\VMware\\VMwareWorkstation\\Programs\\windows.iso

2, then enter the system, open the CD-ROM drive, click on the "setup.exe" inside to install the virtual machine tool.
