Linux installation:

1, enter ROUX as ROOT, change the virtual machine drive to use iso image, the path is X :\\ProgramFiles\\VMware\\VMwareWorkstation\\Programs\\linux.iso3, go to linux and run mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom t to load the CDROM device. If you enter the t directory, you will find one more file: vmware-linux -tools.tar.gz. This is the LINUX package of WMWARE TOOLS, which is what we just saw using WINISO to open the LINUX.ISO file.

cp t vmware-linux-tools.tar.gz /tmp Copy the package to the Linux TMP directory umount /dev/cdrom Uninstall CDROMcd /tmp Enter the TMP directory tar zxf vmware-linux-tools. Installation:

2, then enter the system, open the CD-ROM drive, click on the "setup.exe" inside to install the virtual machine tool.
