Windows Azure Pack architecture details

You can use Quick Install to create a proof of concept deployment. In a rapid deployment, all required components of the Windows
Azure package are installed on the same machine. If you also want to install optional components, you will need another computer. Rapid deployment should not be used in a production environment.

Basic Distributed Deployment Architecture

In a distributed deployment, you can install the required components on up to 8 computers. Distributed deployments can be used in a production environment. The following diagram shows the basic distributed architecture of the required components of a system designed to serve external customers.
