Tenant's Management Portal and Windows
Azure's consistent, customizable self-service portal experience for setting up, monitoring, and managing websites, virtual machines, service buses, and more service. The administrator's management portal is a portal for administrators to configure and manage resource clouds, user accounts, tenant products, quotas, and pricing. Service Management The API Service Management API is the foundation of the Manage Portal feature, an OData REST API that helps enable a range of integration scenarios, including custom portals and billing systems. Website This service is consistent with the Windows Azure website and can help provide a high-density, scalable, shared web hosting platform for ASP.NET, PHP
, and Node.js web applications. It includes a customizable web application library for popular open source web applications, as well as a source code control system for custom-developed websites and applications. Virtual Machine This service is consistent with Windows Azure virtual machines and can help provide the functionality of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for Windows and Linux virtual machines (VMs). It includes a virtual machine template library, scaling options, and virtual networking capabilities. The Service Bus service, which is consistent with the Windows Azure Service Bus, helps provide reliable messaging services between distributed applications. It includes queuing, topic-based publish/subscribe functionality. Automation and Scalability The Windows Azure Pack also includes features to automate and integrate additional custom services into the service framework, including the Runbook editor and execution environment.
