Teach you to modify the Windows 8 system to safely remove the USB device and turn off the USB power

If you are using Windows
7 or Windows
8, you will find that the USB device's indicator light is still on after the USB device is safely removed. This will be confusing for us: Is there a safe removal of the USB device? The main reason for this is that the default setting in Windows
7 is to keep the connection and power the USB device after the USB device is removed. To solve this problem, please refer to the steps below.

Turn off USB power after safely removing USB device:

Open the run window with Win+R shortcut and enter regedit to open the registry,

Locate the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\usbhub

and click Edit ——New ——,

Name the newly created item HubG and create a DWORD (32-bit) value for the item. The value is called DisableOnSoftRemove,

Right-click the value and select Modify.

Modify the numeric data to 1, then OK,

Now after you safely remove the USB device, the USB device's indicator light will shut down.
