Win10 joins UUP system update technology: reduces processing power, shrinks upgrade package, and is smoother

The difference between the three and the fifth, Microsoft Windows 10 will push the update, unlike the previous WinXP/7 era can be completely turned off "automatic upgrade", Win10 can not be permanently banned, can only be temporarily postponed.

However, such a "strong" practice has also caused problems for users. For example, users who use monthly traffic are inexplicably "stolen packages", users with poor bandwidth are occupied when they are busy, and the configuration is more complicated. Low users suddenly change cards and so on.

Now, Microsoft has announced a new software update delivery technology called "Unified Update Platform (UUP)."

It is reported that the “unified upgrade platform” includes a series of back-end adjustments, which reduces the processing power required for Windows 10 during the upgrade, and reduces the upgrade package, which will be the first to make the system on the Windows smartphone. The upgrade is smoother.

The UPU has been added to the Windows 10 PC/Mobile Build 14959 "Fast Channel" that was pushed this morning. The official version will need to wait until the Windows 10 Creators update early next year.
