Win10 Mobile/PC Preview 14951 Update Content Summary

Microsoft today pushed Win10 Mobile/PC Preview 14951 to Fast Channel Insider members. The following is an update of this version.

Improved custom touchpad (PC) customization experience: First, add a keyboard shortcut selector, now if you select this option on the Advanced Gestures page, you will see a recorder so you can capture Your favorite key combination; secondly, we added the Change Audio and Volume option to a set of basic swipe gestures that you can choose. Finally, we updated the reset button, now has a progress circle, and a check mark is displayed when it is finished. We’ve also heard feedback from your last preview experience and fixed several issues, including the reset button not clearing the settings listed on the Advanced Gestures page, and the 4-finger gesture graphics visible on devices that only support 3 contacts, and Some advanced gesture options don't work.

Windows Ink Improvements (PC): Starting with this release, the drop-down list in the Windows Ink workspace will allow you to change the color and width without having to open it twice. After you make all the adjustments to your favorite pen, start drawing immediately and we will close your drop-down list.

We also introduced Stencils. The Windows Ink Protractor tool combines the functions of the protractor and compass into one, and now you can draw an arc or a complete circle of any size. The familiar two-finger pinch gesture adjusts the protractor to the desired size, and when you draw along the edge of the protractor that displays the arc, the degree reading follows the pen, mouse, or finger. In this preview version, the ruler also gets a small update - its degree reading shows the value of the angle, making drawing angles easier.
