Microsoft recently pushed the first Win10 Mobile Redstone 2 preview version of Build 14905. The only new content added in this version is the new ringtone, and some bugs have been fixed. Now the foreign media NPU brings us the hands-on experience of this version.

Win10 Mobile Preview 14905 just started to push a problem, some users can not detect the update, and now Microsoft has solved this problem, the Insider members can update normally. The following is the experience and hands-on video brought by foreign media.

Build 14905 hands-on impression (performance, multitasking, games, battery life, etc.):

Build 14905 experience is good. Although Microsoft's adjustment of the underlying Windows OneCore-related code is prone to bugs and crashes, it is not a problem.

Daily tasks are stable and responsive, such as starting screen navigation, scrolling application lists, turning settings on and off, handling calls, text messages, emails, and more. We have not encountered a system level crash.

Other everyday and important things, mobile data and WiFi connections work great on our devices.

There is a problem with the store application update in Build 14905. The solution is to change the default storage location of the application to this device.

Native applications such as maps, cameras, Outlook mail and calendars work fine.

Sharing photos and other content will crash.

Microsoft Edge is stable and working fine in Build 14905.

There is no problem with video streaming and playback. It works fine and there is no flicker in the previous version.

The game can also run normally, and the game opens quickly in the background when multitasking.

App multitasking is impressive, and apps are quickly recovered from the background. The application does not crash in the background when multitasking.

Main BUGs and Issues:

Bluetooth features require UI adjustments, such as control options that allow “what devices are automatically connected> or “manual”. There should be an option to manually search for Bluetooth devices.

Shared in some places.

Summary:

Overall, this version experience is not bad. Of course, the different experiences of the models will be different, perhaps better than ours, or worse than ours.
