How should Win7 use SpeedFan to control CPU fan speed

CPU is the core of the computer, and the CPU fan heat dissipation intensity is often related to the CPU temperature, the following small series will explain the CPU fan speed how to adjust the fault, the user needs fast Let's take a look.

The steps are as follows:

SpeedFan configuration

A lot of friends open the software to adjust the fan speed "Speed0x", and then found that there is no effect and disappointing, think this is an invalid software . In fact, I don't know how to use SpeedFan, which makes it an illusion of useless software. In fact, there are still some simple preparations before the official adjustment of the speed. Let's get into the configuration first

We first go to the [Advanced] menu and select the control chip in the "chip" position. Friends who don't know much don't have to worry, because usually only the correct control chip is selected. As shown in the picture, if you choose other, you will not have these options. Next, select the "PWM 2 Mode" option, which refers to the control of the No. 2 fan (PWM 1, 3, 4, 5 and so on). We need to set the control method for it below. Here we have to choose "software control". Then [memorize]. This way we can go back to the main screen to adjust the fan speed. It should be noted that some fans will stop when the speed is lower than a certain level X%, so remember to pay attention to the fan speed to avoid loss. For a typical fan, the fan speed is the slowest when the speed is 0%.

Fan1/Speed01 is usually for CPU fan socket (CPU_FAN), Fan2/Speed02 is for system fan socket (SYS_FAN), and Fan3/Speed03 is for power fan socket (PWR_FAN). The author's FOXCONN G31AX-K motherboard is Fan2/Speed02 for CPU fan socket (CPU_FAN).

Configuration speed

Select speed 02 (each person's computer is different, some are 01, as long as the CPU fan speed);

The setting below is SpeedFan's automatic speed adjustment function, we enable automatic change;

The following we can manually adjust the fan speed "speed 02", and then find that the Fan2 speed change is very obvious. Since we are regulating the CPU fan Fan2, other Fan x data is not displayed;

Set [Fan]. After configuration;
