How to take notes and sync to OneNote?

  

Windows 10's Edge browser on Win10 Edge browser, allowing users to paint, write notes and sync to Windows 10's built-in OneNote note-taking software.

1. Open a web page in the Edge. In the upper right corner of the Edge window is a note-taking icon, which is a function button for taking notes on a web page.

2. Click the “Make a Web Note” button and the Notes toolbar appears above the Edge browser window.

3. Click the “highlights” button in the toolbar and paint on the content of the page of interest.

4. Click on the “Add a typed note” button, then click around the position painted above, the text input box appears, and the text is entered.

5. Click the “Clip” button on the toolbar, the window area will be darkened, and the text prompt will appear as “Drag to copy the area”. Hold down the mouse and drag out a rectangle that includes the content of our notes.

6. Click the "Share” button on the right side of the toolbar to bring up the "Shared" pane, the last item of which is OneNote.

7. Click on the OneNote item and the pane will enter the OneNote's compose interface. The content already includes the title and markup of the aforementioned note-taking page. Click the “Send” button in the top right corner of the pane.

8. Start the OneNote note-taking software, you can see that the above-mentioned web content of the note has become a new note entry, you can use the function of OneNote for further editing.
