Win10 system comes with two methods of encrypting folders.

In Win10 system, we can use the system's own software to encrypt certain files in the system. When the file is moved to other partitions, the user is Can't open the file, so what should we do? Welcome everyone to watch my experience.

First, add the "Encryption" option in the right-click menu.

1. If we are so troublesome in encrypting files, we must be very annoyed by the friends, then we can Add an encryption button to the context menu. Press the Windows logo key + R on the desktop, open the Run menu command, and enter the "regedit" command to open the Registry Editor.

2, next, we double-click to open the left side of the registry, double-click the sub-section on the left, and then locate the registry key to the following sub-item: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion \\Explorer\\Advanced

3. Next, in the blank space on the right side of the opened Advanced sub-page, right-click and select the “New-32-bit DWORD value” button and set the key. The value is named “EncryptionContextMenu”.

4. Next, we double-click the EncryptionContextMenu subkey that has been created, then change the key value to 1, and save the changes to the registry.

5. After the registry key is added, we can right click on a file or folder and you can see the encrypted menu button in the right-click menu.

6. If it is for an encrypted file or folder, the right-click menu in the pop-up menu is “Decrypt” button, click to quickly decrypt or encrypt, and the friends will try it quickly. Try it.

First, the encrypted file (clip)

1, first, we find the file or folder that needs to be encrypted in the computer, and then right click on the file or folder. In the pop-up menu, select the “Properties” option.

2. In the file or folder properties page, click the “Advanced” menu button in the first tab and click to enter the folder advanced menu properties page.

3. In the file's property page settings, click on the "Encrypt content to protect data" box on the page, and then click the OK button.

4. Next, the page will prompt us to encrypt the parent folder. If you feel it is necessary, you can encrypt it with the parent folder. If you don't feel it is necessary, you can only encrypt the file.

5. After the file is encrypted, we can see that the icon in the upper right corner of the file contains a lock flag, which means that the file has been successfully encrypted.

6. Maybe there are a lot of friends who will ask, why is there no need to enter a password for the encrypted file here? In fact, this file encryption means that the file can only be opened in this account on this computer. If you copy the file to another computer or other account on this computer, it cannot be opened. We click on the “details" button in the file encryption page.

7. It can be seen from this page that this file is indeed encrypted, but the encrypted password is automatically recognized by the system. Since it is the encrypted file of this account, the account is the file. With full access, it's easy to access without entering a password.
