Microsoft Win10's first major non-repairable TH2 (Threshold 2) update will be released in November

Microsoft has been pushing the cumulative update role is generally a problem fix and performance improvement.

According to foreign media, Windows 10's first major non-patch update TH2 (also known as Threshold 2, also known as Wave 2) will be officially released in early November.

Microsoft originally scheduled to release the update in October. If the above news is reliable, it means that the release time has been postponed. But this is not necessarily a bad thing, because postponing the release can give Microsoft more time to further optimize system performance and add more new features.

The name of the update is TH2 for its development code. The foreign media said that Microsoft internally called it "Win10 November update", but the final name is not confirmed. It is also possible that Microsoft will not set a name for it, but will be pushed to Win10 users as an update to "Ordinary".

The current Windows Insider users are already testing the TH2 preview, and new features have been added including a color title bar, a new memory management mechanism, a touch-optimized and more unified and more modern right-click menu (some issues) .

It is still unclear whether Microsoft will add new features such as Edge browser extensions and general messaging applications to TH2 updates.

According to previous reports, TH2 is less important than the Redstone update that will be released in 2016.

The main role of TH2 is to optimize the system, and more new features will be available in the Redstone update. (via: WinBeta)
