Microsoft is testing the Astoria app in the Win10 app store

  

Recently reported some features that are currently supported and not supported by Project Astoria, the Microsoft Android application porting project. Today, foreign media confirmed that Microsoft has started beta testing the Project Astoria app in the Win10 app store, allowing developers to submit Android apps to the Windows 10 app store.


As early as August, Microsoft has been testing the project with some developers. A Microsoft employee at the time said:

“ Is your app ready to enter the Windows Store? We are working on the Windows Dve Developer Center and the App Store, and we are looking for partners to help us test the Project Astoria project. If you are interested, you can send us an email. & rdquo;

When a developer asked Microsoft when it was possible to submit a Project Astoria app in the Windows Store, Microsoft employees replied:

“We are still testing. It is also difficult to give exact time. We are still looking for more developers to help us test together, and we will only be able to launch the project in the Windows Dve Developer Center after sufficient testing. ”

Today, the same Microsoft employee revealed that the company is working with multiple teams to test the submission of Android apps to the Windows Store, and some teams are ready to release, and then will More teams are testing together. After that, Microsoft will allow all developers to submit their Project Astoria app to the app store and let its app run on Win10 Mobile.

It is not yet certain when Microsoft will officially launch the project. Foreign media believe that it should not wait too long.
