Microsoft released the August 2015 security update: Win10/Win8.1/Win7 and other affected

  

July 15th Microsoft released the July 2015 security update announcement, this time contains a total of 14 patches, 4 for “Serious” level, 10 are “important” levels, involving Vista, Win7, Win8.1 and Windows Server server systems, Office series suites and other products. Today, on August 12, Microsoft released this month's routine security update in the early morning. This update contains 14 patches, 4 of which are serious and 10 are important. Involving systems such as Win10/Win8.1/Win7 and some software services from Microsoft, it is recommended that users download and install updates from Windows Update in a timely manner.

The August 2015 security update includes:

KB3082442: IE cumulative security update, which resolves Internet Explorer may allow remote access when users use Internet Explorer to view specially designed web pages Vulnerability in executing code;

KB3078662: Fixing vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Lync, and Microsoft Silverlight;

KB3080790: Fixing Microsoft Office may open in users Remote code execution vulnerabilities when specially designed Microsoft Office files are available;

KB3080348: Fixes vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows. The vulnerability could allow remote code execution if an attacker sends a specially crafted packet to an SMB server error log.

KB3080129: Fix vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. These vulnerabilities could lead to information disclosure if a user clicks on a specially designed link to expose a memory address or explicitly allows the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 2.0;

KB3082487: Fixing possible in Mount Manager A vulnerability that allows elevation of privilege. The vulnerability could allow elevation of privilege if an attacker inserts a malicious USB device into the target system. The attacker then writes the malicious binary to disk and executes it;

KB3075158: Resolving a vulnerability in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. The vulnerability could allow elevation of privilege if a user accesses an affected website through a specially crafted URL;

KB3082459: Fix a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows. The vulnerability could allow elevation of privilege if an attacker inserts a malicious script into a web search parameter to perform cross-site scripting (XSS);

KB3082458: Fixing unsafe command line parameter passing can lead to information disclosure Vulnerability;

KB3076949: Fix vulnerabilities that may allow elevation of privilege in Windows;

KB3084525: Win10 Edge browser cumulative security update, vulnerability may be exploited when users view a specially crafted webpage using Microsoft Edge Allow remote code execution;

KB3086251: Fixed a vulnerability in the .NET Framework that might allow elevation of privilege.

This month's update, affected operating systems and components include: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 (R2), Windows Server 2012 (R2) and for tablet devices Windows RT and Windows RT 8.1.

Other Microsoft services and software affected include: Microsoft System Center 2012 Operations Manager (R2) and Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013/2013 RT.
