Win10 users recommend continuing to display update patch size in Win10

August 6th news, in the previous systems such as Win7/Win8.1, the Windows update patch size can be displayed, users can choose which updates to download based on the data if needed. However, after the official version of Win10, the update download has become an automatic behavior, and the user has no control. Therefore, the patch size has become dispensable information, and Microsoft has cancelled the display of this information.

But some users don’t think so, and still hope that Microsoft will continue to display the update patch size in Win10. Gabriel Aul, head of Microsoft's Win10 preview experience program, said that Microsoft has no relevant considerations yet, but if many users want to do so (such as reflecting this opinion in the "Feedback" application), Microsoft will consider re-adding the patch size display function. .

Obviously, after the official version of Win10, users have less control over Windows updates. Win10 Home Edition users are completely unable to determine the update download and installation, everything is managed automatically by the system. Win10 Pro users also don't have the option to update the download, but have the option to install time, which means they don't have to be installed immediately after the download is complete. The highest-privileged Win10 Enterprise Edition LTSB users do not need to install functional updates, and the security update installation time can be more extensive, but the update download is also automatic. Because of this, even if the user knows how big the update patch is, you can't control the update download behavior at all, so this information has no practical meaning today, and it only shows the user “know”.

But many users don't agree, they put forward their opinions, let's take a look!
