Windows 10 WiFi Sense or security risks? Default does not share passwords

One of the new features introduced in Windows 10 is Wi-Fi Sense, which allows a user's PC to automatically connect to a Wi-Fi network that a friend has connected to, even if you don't know the password. But you don't have to worry about it. Wi-Fi Sense does not share passwords by default. For every new connected Wi-Fi network, you will be asked if you want to share your password with friends or social network friends.

Wi-Fi Sense comes from Windows Phone, and the PC version works basically the same as the mobile version. To use this feature you need to log in to a Microsoft account, which does not work under a local account. When Wi-Fi Sense is fully enabled, it will share most of the passwords with your Outlook.com, Skype and Facebook contacts.

It does not share networks that require additional authentication protocols, such as enterprise networks that use 802.1x EAP. Users can turn this feature off under Wi-Fi settings.
