Win10 official version of the start menu serious Bug exposure: too many shortcuts or cause crashes

July 30th news, a major feature of Win10 attracting old users is the return of the menu. This function is especially welcomed by the majority of Win7 users. But this new version of the start menu has been found by some Win10 users a serious bug: too many shortcuts will cause a crash.

Specifically, the finder of the problem relies heavily on the Start menu, and there are more than 500 (unknown numbers) shortcuts in all applications. After installing the official version of Win10, after a "secure" restart, these start menu shortcuts all crashed and become unavailable. The user has tried to reduce some shortcuts, reduce the total to less than 500, and fix some shortcut links, but these operations are useless.

Microsoft project manager Arunjeet Singh confirmed the user's statement that he said that the number of Win10 start menu shortcuts is 512. Exceeding this number will cause problems. The company is currently working on this bug, but it does not give a clear timeline.
