Win10 new patch KB3074681 bug fixes quickly uninstallable in settings

July 27, yesterday reported that Win10's latest patch KB3074681 will cause the resource manager to crash. For example, when the user uninstalls the software in the traditional control panel, the explorer crashes and cannot be uninstalled. Today, Gabriel Aul, the Windows Insider project leader, confirmed this issue on Twitter and said that a fix update will be available soon. Before fixing this issue, users can try to uninstall the software or application in the Modern setup application.

Compared with the settings in Win8/Win8.1, the Modern settings in Win10 are more abundant, and many of the functions in the traditional control panel have been ported to it. Microsoft also intends to cancel the traditional control panel. However, there are still many operations that rely on traditional control panels, such as replacing desktop themes, desktop icons, and mouse pointers, so it is too early to cancel the traditional control panel.
