The Win10 Mobile store will eventually add the last update date, application version number

In less than three days, Microsoft will release the official Win10 system. In Windows 10, the core is the Windows Unified Store, which is also the place where Windows common applications will be displayed in the future. However, there are still many obvious shortcomings in the Microsoft App Store, especially the Win10 mobile version, but Microsoft has made a clear explanation.

The following points will be added or have been added in the near future:

• Application version number, last updated date and time, device compatibility: in the application description page, not included in Which devices are working, and the app version and last update date are not shown. We will add these popular features to future app updates. One of the suggestions is to add the app version display to the app description page when you update the app.

• New Ratings and Comment Algorithms:

• In the Windows 10 app store, new sorting logic will be used to improve the user experience. Recent useful comments will be listed first, ensuring that app reviews are more relevant to the current version.

• The swearing comment detection algorithm is improved. When the user uses swearing words in the comments, the algorithm further recognizes and removes the inappropriate language according to the criteria.

• New spam detection filters that are removed or removed before users see them.

• New online store and URL redirects: Previous windows.microsoft.com and www.windowsphone.com have now been redirected to apps.microsoft.com, but the previous URLs are still available.

• Installed apps on the web are no longer available: Using the store or PC browser to install apps to Windows Phone is no longer supported. Application installation must pass through the device.

This article has been strongly feedback to Microsoft on the application version number and the last update issue. Obviously, Microsoft has also realized the feedback and suggestions from netizens, indicating that the feature will return soon.
