How to change the default login background of Windows10?

Starting from Win10 Build 10159, Microsoft used Hero Wallpaper as the default login screen for the system, but the radish cabbage has its own love, and it is inevitable that there will be aesthetic fatigue when the number of times is seen. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not provided any changes. Login background options. So how do you change the Windows 10 default login background? Foreign netizen Krutonium found a way to do it with me. First effect diagram:

To change the Win10 login background screen, you need to replace a system file named Windows.UI.Logon.pri. The login background is in this file. Modify Win10 login background screen requires two steps to complete:

This article operating system environment: Win10 Build 10240

1, generate Windows.UI.Logon.pri file

First download PowerShell program file (click here to download).

Unzip and download the Login.ps1 file, copy it to the desktop, and then prepare a picture you want to replace and put it on the desktop (support jpg, png format), assuming the picture is named Img102.jpg (Note that the system does not display the file suffix by default).

Right-click on the Login.ps1 file and select “Edit”, the system will automatically open with PowerShell ISE, as shown below. Here we only need to modify the third line, and change the file name to the name of the image file that you have prepared. After editing, save it.

Right-click on the Login.ps1 file and select “Run with PowerShell>, the PS Run window will pop up, wait a moment before the window disappears and it will generate on the desktop. Rename the Windows.UI.Logon_new.pri file to Windows.UI.Logon.pri.

2, replace the Windows.UI.Logon.pri file

System files we can not directly replace, you need to obtain the administrator rights of the relevant files, method:

First download and install Rubik's Cube (click here to download), open the "Master" in the Rubik's Cube, as shown below. In the right-click menu —— add right-click menu item, check "“ administrator takes ownership" and click “apply”.

Then open the C:\\Windows\\SystemResources directory, right click on the Windows.UI.Logon folder and select “Administrator Takes Ownership”. Waiting for the CMD window to flash, this time we can operate on the files in Windows.UI.Logon.

Enter the Windows.UI.Logon directory, first add the .Backup suffix to the original file name for backup, and then copy the generated Windows.UI.Logon.pri file to it. If you are prompted for permission during this period, click "Continue". After the completion of the following figure:

At this point, you can see the effect by locking the system or rebooting.

If you want to restore to the default, first delete your own generated Windows.UI.Logon.pri, and then restore the original file name to the default.

Future Win10 Optimizer and Rubik's Cube will add this feature to facilitate one-click replacement.
