If you haven’t upgraded the SDK from 10069/10074, this issue will have an impact. When you install the Windows 10 SDK 10166 version, AppVerifier does not install properly, the installer rolls back or when you try to uninstall the Win10 SDK 10166 version, the AppVerifier package uninstall fails.

Solutions

1. Download AppVerifier.zip to your PC and click here to download.

2. Extract the contents into a known folder, such as C:\\temp

3. Using an administrator command prompt, run c:\\temp\\InstallAppVerifierBinary.cmd
