Microsoft details Windows 10 official version of the push strategy Not everyone upgrades at the same time

Later this month, Microsoft will officially release Windows 10 system for ordinary consumer users worldwide. The operating system is currently in the final testing phase, and it is expected that the installed capacity will reach 1 billion in the next three years. Terry Myerson from Microsoft recently detailed how Microsoft will push Windows 10 to thousands of users.

Starting on July 29th, the final version of Windows 10 will be pushed to users who join the Windows Insider program, and the push process will gradually expand beyond this.

According to the usual process, if you have a plan to install Windows 10, Microsoft will be ready to work —— that is, to ensure that the system can run smoothly on your device and notify you of the installation. However, if the new system is not well installed on your PC because of some incompatible applications or drivers, then Microsoft will also notify you to contact the software or hardware vendor after these issues are resolved. Will push the Windows 10 update.

Myerson said that for most incompatible issues, you can still choose to upgrade. However, this move at least shows sincerity. Microsoft is also very aware that software or driver issues may lead to serious consequences after the upgrade, so it is necessary to make a warning.

In addition, as in the past, Microsoft has also prepared a sticker for OEM manufacturers, as shown in the above figure: A device with such a logo means that you can upgrade after purchasing. Go to Windows 10.

Enterprise users who use volume licensing can download Windows 10 from August 1st; Windows 10 Enterprise Enterprise Edition and Windows 10 Education Education Edition will also be online in the same day. In other words, not all users will receive a Windows 10 update on July 29th. But for the Windows 10 system, are you ready?
