Windows 10e 10149 mobile version of the main update log Enable Edge brand

  

Earlier today, Microsoft officially launched a new version of Windows 10 Mobile with a system version number of 10149. Currently, Fast Ring users can check the new version by setting -> Update and Security -> Mobile Update. This update mainly brings several functional improvements, the main content is: Microsoft Edge browser: First, in this version, Microsoft officially launched the Edge brand. In the current version, the address bar has been moved from the top to the bottom. When browsing the web, the user can select both the mobile view and the desktop view.

Important Reminder: Renaming from “Project Spartan” to "Edge” means that the new browser app has a brand new app ID. This means that upgrading from the previous preview will result in the loss of all favorites, cookies, history and reading list elements in the Project Spartan application.

General UX Improvements and Polishing: You can see a lot of UX improvements in the current version. Microsoft has fixed the ambiguity of many of the dynamic tiles that are pinned to the start screen, so the start screen can look sharper and cleaner. In addition, a number of upgrades have been made to control elements such as icons and visual content (such as volume control) in this release. Overall, you will find that system feedback is more sensitive.

Flashlight Quick Start: Based on feedback from a large number of users, Microsoft added a shortcut to the flashlight in the Windows 10 Action Center.

Updated Photos app in Windows 10: Microsoft has released an updated version of the Photos app through Windows Store Beta. This update includes general performance and stability improvements and adds support for GIF files (recommended for use on 1GB memory devices). You can also provide links to saved pictures, screenshots, and photos.

Automatically upload camera photos via OneDrive: The automatic camera photo upload feature can be managed directly from the OneDrive app on your phone. Make sure you open the OneDrive app and turn on/off the album auto upload feature to your preferences.

Updated apps: Many new apps can be downloaded by visiting the Windows Store Beta. These include Outlook Mail, Calendar, Music, Movies & TV, MSN apps, and more.
