The correct steps for setting up PPTP/L2TP connections under Windows XP

  

Although Microsoft has announced that the Windows XP system has withdrawn from the historical arena, there are still many users who have Windows XP installed on their computers. Some Windows XP system users find that when they want to set up PPTP/L2TP connection, it is not possible to set up according to the Windows 7 system tutorial. The first step is to have a VPN account;

In the second step, click on the taskbar <;start”→“set”→“control panel” Double-click & ldquo; Fi & rdquo; icon, then select the left side of the & ldquo; Fi & rdquo; menu bar & ldquo; create a new connection & rdquo ;:

fifth step, & ldquo; VPN server selection input & rdquo ;, here the IP address of the VPN server Or domain name, then click “Next”, then click “Complete

Step 6, enter the username and password, click “ ” button can be used for PPTP dialing:

If only PPTP, then set it this is complete, if you want to use L2TP /IPSec, then continue with the following steps:
