How does Winodws 10 use the quick access feature?

Microsoft today introduced the new quick access feature in Windows 10. In previous versions of Windows, we had a feature called Favorites that allowed us to pin our favorite folders to a single place. With fast access, Microsoft is expanding this feature to pin folders by automatically showing you the folders you use most often and the files you have recently accessed. When you start using Windows 10, the PC version of Quick Access will become more personalized.

So what exactly is quick access?

The same folder is displayed as the main content area on the right side of the navigation pane. Folders and fixed to them are those that never leave themselves. We started showing you a few common folders, but you have full control over the fixed content. If you find that there are no fixed folders, these are the folders you use frequently. When you perform an operation such as opening a file, creating a new file, etc., the frequency score of the included folder increases. Once it exceeds a certain threshold, it will start showing up in Quick Access as a hot folder. We will show up to 4 hot folders, which are always under a fixed folder. Since we only show the 4 highest scoring folders, this list may change at any time. If you want to make sure the folder doesn't go away, just fix it. Finally, in the content area we display the most recent file. These are just chronological and show their path.
