How to expand c disk win7 win7 expand c disk space method introduction

today to re-do the system, installed a win7 system, although not advanced, but together and use it, but finished The c drive is only 25G, my 500g hard drive, it seems that the c drive is a bit less. How to do this, how does win7 expand the c drive? Some say that the other disk is deleted and then merged, but I have something in the other disk, and finally downloaded a partition assistant to solve this problem.

Tools/Materials

Partition Assistant Professional Edition

Software Name:
Partition Assistant Professional Edition 6.0 Disk Partition Management Software Sheet file green version
software size:

methods/steps

First download a partition assistant professional version, I use win764 bit, download a 64-bit, then extract, or open, install according to the prompts.

Run to see, c drive only 25g, has used more than 12g, not how to install software, this does not work, increase the partition capacity.

It is best to reduce the adjacent d disk to some c drive, the other I did not try, select the d drive, click on the adjustment /move partition on the left.

In the pop-up window, you can directly allocate the space, I drag the border on the right to change the size.

At this time, unallocated space will appear. Click on the unallocated space, right click, click merge partition, and then select both unallocated space and c drive.

After the determination, you can see that the c drive has increased the space, but this is not completed, but also click on the submission in the upper left corner. If an error occurs before submission, it can be revoked.

Then click Execute and execute the ones you just did. This process will be restarted.

The restart process can't take screenshots, so I have to take photos. This process has to be restarted two or three times, regardless of it, until the boot to win7 finds that the partition has been adjusted.

The above is how win7 introduces the expansion method of c drive, I hope to be helpful to everyone!
