Win7 removes EISA hidden partitions to reduce disk usage

Many users install Win7 systems with a hidden partition. This partition is an EISA hidden partition for system restore. Once the system has a major failure, it can be easily restored from the partition. However, many users think that this hidden partition takes up the capacity and wants to delete it, but I don't know where to start. So today this tutorial will help you delete the EISA hidden partition.

1. Open the Win7 command prompt as an administrator, then type the diskpart.exe command in the Command Prompt panel and press Enter. Then enter the rescan command and press Enter to scan the hard disk configuration.

Second, to display the disk list, you need to enter the list disk command on its panel. Then enter “select disk disk number” and press Enter to indicate that the disk where the hidden partition is located is selected. Then enter the list partition command to display the disk partition you selected.

Third, then select the partition number of the hidden partition, enter “ select partition partition number & rdquo;, then use the delete partition override command to delete the hidden partition.

After the above steps, the part of the hard disk space occupied by the EISA hidden partition can be used normally. A friend who has this need may wish to try and save a lot of space on your hard drive.
