Vmware virtual machine installation xp can not find the reason why the hard disk can not be started

Problem and phenomenon:

Toss the VMware virtual machine at night, in the windows7, use the VM virtual machine to install the Ghost version xp, first need to manually partition And formatted, the partitioning tool used here is the PQ in the Ghost image CD. However, after installing the Ghost version ISO image file of Windows XP through the virtual CD-ROM drive, it cannot be booted from the hard disk and prompts that the hard disk drive cannot be found. The error message is similar:

missing operate system

or:

Operating system not found

Cause and solution:

Obviously, this is the boot partition where no activity can be found. Some people on the Internet say that the PQ partition often shows that the primary partition is not activated. Then enter the PE system, use the PM partition tool to set the hard disk partition where the system is installed to be active, and enter smoothly after reboot!

In short, the reason is that the primary partition is not activated. The solution is to activate the primary partition with the partitioning tool.

When the primary partition is activated, it still doesn't work, and the reason is that this Ghost version (the rain forest woodwind Ghost system often does this) my documentation and system installation files need to be put into another disk, all necessary At least 2 partitions, then create a partition, the problem is solved.
