How to set the win8 system boot option?

Installed win8, how to speed up the system startup speed? 32-bit system, 4g memory only recognizes 2g how to deal with it? There is also a windows7 system in the computer, how to configure the default boot system for the computer to boot. This needs to be done by setting the boot option for win8.

1. Enter the win8 desktop, press the windows key +r, open the running interface, enter: msconfig, click OK:

2, in the pop-up [System Configuration] interface, Select the [Boot] tab, select the win8 system (if there is only one system, the default is selected), click [Advanced Options]

3, in the boot advanced options, we check the ” The number of processors “, select the largest number in the drop-down box, the same reason, check & rdquo; maximum memory “, adjust to the maximum. This way your system will start with the maximum number of cores and the maximum memory for the next startup. The startup speed will be faster, and the 4g memory identification problem will be alleviated. Click [OK] after saving to save the configuration.

4. If there are multiple systems in the computer, in the [System Configuration] interface, select one of the operating systems and click [Set as Default] to set the priority startup sequence. (There is only one system in the example)

5. If you want to reduce the waiting time of the system selection interface when the computer is turned on, you can adjust the small [timeout] value (the default is 30s). Finally, let's make sure to save all the configuration. Then restart the system for the configuration to take effect.

Note:

1, 32-bit system only recognizes 3.5g, so if you want to recognize 4g memory, you need to change 64-bit system

2. If it is a set display, some of the memory is classified as video memory, so it is normal to recognize only 3g after the memory adjustment. Still above, if you want to fully use your own memory, please go to the 64-bit system
