What should I do if all user accounts in the winxp system are disabled?

In the Windows XP system, the account that can be logged in interactively, in addition to the account we created later, there are two built-in accounts: one is the administrator account Administrator, and the other is the guest account Guest. We can use the net user command in the CMD environment to view the account information, as shown below:

We can also follow the name of the account after the net user command to view the specific information of the account, as shown below: Br>

The account can be disabled or deleted (except for the system built-in account). You can also disable the account by using the net user command. Usage: net user account name /active:no. Note that there are spaces and slashes, as shown below:

In contrast, if you want to enable an account, change no to yes. Well, the system built-in account can not be deleted, but it can be disabled, including the account you are currently logged in, can also be disabled, in other words, you can log all interactive login system The account is disabled. If anyone does a prank or a spoof-like virus, what will happen? Obviously, when you reboot, the system will look like this:

There are no users on the login screen because they are all disabled. Hold down Ctrl+Alt+Del twice to switch to the classic login mode. You can't log in by entering the account name and password, as shown below:

What should I do? There is no way to log in to all accounts, can you only reinstall the system? Of course not, let me follow this step by step to solve this problem.

First of all, you may think of safe mode or use the last correct configuration, but unfortunately this is useless. If you are interested, you can experiment on your own (recommended in the virtual machine). then what should we do? We should know that all the things in Windows are stored in the registry, including the account information, then can you enable an account by directly modifying the registry? Because as long as you can find out if the account is disabled in the corresponding location in the registry, you can enable this account by modifying the registry.

It was mentioned when talking about the registry. Some information about the account is stored under the HKLM/SAM item. The problem now is that the operating system cannot log in. How do I edit the registry? At this time, I have to ask for the famous ERD Commander. This is an emergency repair disk. It can guide you to the operating system that cannot be started on the hard disk, thus performing some maintenance and super powerful! So our ultimate idea is to use the ERD system to boot the system that cannot be started on the hard disk, and modify its registry to enable the account. The idea is, the next step is the experiment:

First use ERD Commander to boot the computer (the ERD Commander iso file can be downloaded online)

and then burn it to the CD or make it with the burning software. The U disk boot disk can be used to start the computer and enter the login interface of the ERD system:

On this login interface, all the operating systems installed on this hard disk detected by it will be listed. The system you want to boot, then click “OK”.

ERD will start to guide you to the operating system on your hard drive. After the operating system is booted, start the RED system registry editor from the "Start" menu (must be the registry editor of the ERD system), as shown below:

So, now open this The registry is the registry of the original local hard disk, and now we can start to modify the registry. In the Registry Editor, navigate to: HKLM/SAM/SAM/Domain/users/Names. Let's take the example of enabling the Administrator account as an example. Select the account name under the Names, the right side will display a default key value, as shown below:

In the figure, the administrator account value is 0x1F4. Then look for the value of the item above the user item is 000001F4, select the item, there will be two key values on the right side, one is called F, the other is called V, as shown below:

Double-click The one named "F” needs to modify its value. This is a binary data type. Change his 39th byte from 11 to 10, 11 means the account is disabled, and 10 means enable (guest account). For 15 and 14). After the modification is completed, click “OK”, close the ERD registry editor, restart the system, and solve the problem!
