This article describes how to modify the MAC address on a Windows computer platform. This method is for Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8. The reason for modifying the MAC address is usually in the LAN. The network administrator sets the MAC address filtering, or the IP and MAC address binding, restricts the computer in the LAN to access the Internet, and can break through this limitation by modifying the MAC address of the computer.
Modification method 1. Open the running program: Press the "Windows”+“R” button on the keyboard at the same time.


2, open the device manager: enter "Run" in the running program. Devmgmt.msc” command and press Enter or click “OK”.


3. In the device manager interface, click <;network adapter"----> select the network card whose MAC address needs to be modified, right click and select “Attributes”


Click “Advanced ---->Select the following “network address"----> fill in the new “value" MAC address -----> Then click “ OK & rdquo;, the MAC address is modified. Here I am modified to 0A-2B-3C-4D-5E-6F.


Note: MAC addresses are represented by hexadecimal numbers, ie 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B , C, D, E, F This is a number to represent.

At the same time press Windows+R to open the running program---->Enter“cmd”Press the Enter key---->Enter“ipconfig /all” command, Press Enter, you can see the modified MAC address in the result. You can see that the MAC address (physical address) is the 0A-2B-3C-4D-5E-6F we just modified.
