How does Win8 set up a time search to search for files in a certain time period

  

Using index files in Win8 makes searching very fast and comprehensive. Although Win8's search function is very powerful, but users only want to search for files in a certain period of time, how to customize the date search?

First click in the search box, Win8 file explorer will display at the top “Search”Toolbar, click the “Modify Date" button to pop up the date range selection box. Figure:

However, the date range here is the whole week, the whole month, the whole year option, then how to customize an arbitrary date range? Click “ today”, then Click on the ' Today” blue character displayed in the search box to pop up the date selection box. Figure:

So how do you choose the date range? Click on the “Date of November 2012” above the date selection box (above), the time range will be moved up to “2012”, The time range is also displayed as 12 months (as shown below). At this point, notice that the date in the search box has become a date range separated by two points. Figure:

Manually modify the date range in the search, for example, change to “2012/?10/?11 .. ?2012/?11/?11” to search for 2012 All documents from October 11th to November 11th, 2012.

Win8's powerful search function supports custom file search and also supports time search, which is the custom time search described in this article. Windows 8 is very convenient for searching for fixed time classes, which can be achieved after clicking.
