Tips for using a host file to block bad websites under Windows

1. Click the Start menu in the Run box, type C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts, and click OK. Or press Win+R to bring up the Run dialog. As shown:


2. Open the mode and open it with Notepad.


3. After opening, enter 127.0.0.1 at the bottom and then the website address to be blocked. The format is as shown below.


4. After the input is complete, click on the file and select Save. Or press the shortcut key Ctrl+S.

Then re-open the WinXP browser, try to browse the bad website, you will find that the page will not pop up, so the bad website is completely blocked.
